Page Text: I have a BA in Music Business from the University of Massachusetts Lowell I play saxophone recreationally and piano for medicinal purposes. Feel free to reach out to me for all of your Noteflight needs, or if you just need a shoulder to cry on. Jordi "Llach" Bartolomé I'm a violinist and engineer from Barcelona. I love to work with technology and music! In the past I worked developing websites and musical software, such as music21. I'm really happy to be part of this wonderful team! Amber "Liston" Love Sales ManagerMusic Education Tech Specialist As an International clinician and performer, Amber holds an extensive range of experiences in music education and the music industry. She is a passionate advocate for technology in music, founding an education based group on Facebook called Trombone Etude of the Week. Amber holds a master’s degree in Bass Trombone Performance from the Eastman School of Music, and a bachelor’s degree in Music Education (pre-cert) from VanderCook College of Music. Her other passions include biking, long walks on the beach, and The Office marathons. James "Stockhausen" Staub Engineer James is a musician and programmer with a bent towards experimental music systems. He is passionate about building tools for creativity and exploring far out sounds. Greg "Brady" Bacon Product Manager As a musician and composer, with BFA in Art and an MS in Software Engineering, I’m thrilled to be on the front lines of improving a product that is loved by like-minded musicians, composers, and educators everywhere! In the evenings, you might find me ‘having a lash’ at a few Celtic tunes in a local pub, usually, but not always, on guitar. I’ve also had the good fortune to perform here and abroad — ask me about Switzerland sometime. When I’m not playing out, you might find me in the small studio I built where I can get a bit geeky about things like audio compression. Lastly, I’m keen on finding ways to encourage others to collaborate on writing, arranging, and recording projects. Kenneth "Vivaldi" Hoffmann Architect I'm a music major who stumbled into the world of tech startups, and a lapsed trumpet player who discovered that the trumpet is a terrible instrument to play when you live in an apartment. Unless you and your neighbors really don't get on. After several years in the high excitement, adrenaline-fueled world of data backup, I'm happy to be working with Noteflight in bringing music composition to a wider audience. George "Sufjan" Plesko Design Director As a designer, I enjoy working with the team to build exciting new Noteflight features and improve on the existing ones, as well as help to announce them when they're ready! In my spare time, I play acoustic guitar and also love stepping away from technology and getting outdoors to take in all the trails and water locations around the Boston area. Sean "Elton" Nealon Engineer Hi!! I’m a trumpet player and pianist from the mountains of Vermont gone rogue to chase my dream of creating accessible musical software. I tinkered with interactive music for many years, working on projects such as a musical board game called DropMix at Harmonix and a physical digital media player gizmo at Qleek. At last, I gave into the enveloping powers of software development and learned how to properly program via Thinkful, a full-stack coding bootcamp. Now I rock with the incredible team at Noteflight as we explore the possibilities of music creation on the web. Stay tuned!! Danielle "Tedeschi" Herrera Marketing Coordinator I'm a storyteller with a background in writing, digital marketing, and journalism. I am so excited to share how awesome Noteflight is with the world! I am a multimedia content nerd, so don't be surprised to see me reading my favorite book, taking scrappy photos/videos on my phone, or heading to the movie theater to watch the latest flick. I also love to go see my favorite musicians perform, while awkwardly dancing and singing along. Queen A-"Bey"-ta Office Dog/Petting Coordinator Hi, my name is Doggie Abita and I run around the Noteflight office on four legs instead of two. I am sweet and cuddly and love to be petted. My job at Noteflight is to lay down on my fuzzy black bed, sit in people's laps, attend every meeting (I am getting pretty good at javascript), and chase after my favorite orange ball! Joe "Clark" Berkovitz Founder Founder and Past-President of Noteflight, continuing to consult as needed. Immersed in the software world for over 30 years, I am also an active composer and pianist. My recent past includes stints at innovative e-commerce companies Allurent and ATG (later acquired by Oracle Corp.) and performing and recording with clarinetist Don Byron. Back in the misty dawn of time, I studied at New England Conservatory of Music. Matt "Booji Boy" Jardine Engineer I'm a general purpose hacker, and synthesizer enthusiast. I have a passion for music technology, and I'm thrilled to be playing with it daily at Noteflight! ♩♫♩ Cailey "Mitchell" Blatchford Operations Coordinator Cailey is a vocalist, violinist, and guitar player with a bachelor’s degree in Music Industry from Northeastern University. She is thrilled to be a part of the Noteflight Team! She loves collaborating with her coworkers to keep operations running smoothly while helping composers, music educators, and musicians to utilize Noteflight to create and share music with the world! Outside of Noteflight, you’ll find her practicing yoga, enjoying walks out in nature, drawing, spinning vinyl, and caring for her overabundance of house plants.
