Page Text: 3 How to see If you has the Succesful Bid on a Route in Liteblue.
If you are an existing USPS employee, you can bid on routes or assignments through the LiteBlue online employee portal.
To do this, you will need to go to: http://www.liteblue.usps.gov and sign in using your Employee ID and your USPS password. These are the same login credentials used for services like PostalEASE. Your Employee ID is an eight digit number and can be found near the top of your pay slip.
Once you have successfully signed in, click on ‘My HR’ and then go to the section labelled ‘I Am…’ and click ‘Access eJob Bidding’. Using the navigation links down the left-hand side of the page, select ‘Enter Job Bids’ and click on the job posting number for the relevant route or assignment.
If you are applying for more than one route or assignment, you can indicate your order of preference using the ‘Choice’ column, where you can choose your first choice, second choice, third choice, and so on. From there, all you need to do to complete the bidding process is click on the button labelled ‘Submit Job Bids’.
How do find out Route Details Before submitting a Bid on Liteblue eJobs.
If you cannot find details on the route that you are biddding for, then do the following:
Click the bid cluster. For example, Houston. The willbe one or two pages of routes up for bid.
Click the first number, and it will show you the route number, for example 03574. This tells you that the route is in zip code 85035, route number 74. Listing will also state “yellow”.
Then, use the EDDM tool on the usps.com website. This tool shows you the route, and the number of addresses. You can use the satellite view, or ground view to view the actual streets on the route. You can then go for a ride and check the route out for yourself.
How to see If you has the Succesful Bid on a Route in Liteblue.
Go to liteblue, then to eJob bidding, then to Employee Bid List. Then Display Bid History and check if there is one that says Successful Bidder.
After a bid has closed, your management will get an email within 3-5 business days to notify them of the successful bidder. Then after three more days, the position is awarded to you. At the beginning of the next pay period, you can start on the new route bid. It should take a maximum of 10 days.
