Organization and Purpose
A wiki is a website that stores information which is collectively created and edited. The UBC Wiki is both an information repository and a collaborative writing space. It is organized into different collections to accommodate its different purposes:
The root of the wiki is open space for articles related to the University of British Columbia.
Documentation space is provided for documentation, support and other similar content. Here it is in action .
The Sandbox is your place to test, play, and work with the UBC Wiki.
Policies and Guidelines
This wiki is for use by students, staff, and faculty at the University of British Columbia. The UBC Wiki is a collaborative space for creating and sharing resources, be it for teaching and learning, research, or community engagement. We reserve the right to delete pornography, hate speech or other content that violates UBC's acceptable use policies .
All material uploaded to the UBC Wiki must comply with the Canadian copyright laws. Do not upload copyrighted material if you do not have permission to do so. Please see http://copyright.ubc.ca for more information.
The UBC Wiki is an open, community platform and anybody UBC CWL can edit it and anybody with an Internet connection can read it. Do not add private or confidential information to the UBC Wiki.
