Page Text: A big girl lives with small dreams... 08/04/2022 首次參加印度人的婚禮 @ 見證步入幸福時刻 (Attended my first Indian wedding) 感情是一件很奇妙的事，緣份會將兩個互不相干的人拉在一起。 緯 說，她和先生 恒姆 是在一個朋友聚會上認識，兜兜轉轉下開始發展戀情，更認定了是彼此心中最美好的人，成為了靈魂伴侣。 (下圖截自網絡) 在收到 緯 的婚禮邀請前，我對印度婚禮的印象僅逗留在寶萊塢電影裡，那狂歡三天三夜 (長則七天七夜) 的婚前派對、奢華氣派的婚禮場面、新娘精緻華麗的傳統紗麗和首飾... 然而實際上是我想多了，畢竟這裡并非印度，隨着時間的變遷和地域的差異，再加上疫情，現今的印度婚禮已没有了往日的鋪張、奢華。話雖如此，印度人辦婚禮也不是一天兩天就辦完的，我指的不是準犕過程，而是儀式的部份。 印度家庭，猶其父親非常重視女兒出嫁這件事。他們會認為一名父親一生中最大的心願就是讓女兒風風光光地出嫁，故印度的傳統婚俗上就有女方會出大部份彩禮/ 婚禮費用的作風。雖然是現代社會，但印度至今仍保留這種習俗，然而... 據我所知啦，大馬的印度男女雙方基本會公平分擔婚禮費用。 婚禮的前一晚，如各族的習俗，一般會舉辦「告别單身派對」，男女雙方會在各自的家宴客。 除了雙方宴請，在舉辦婚禮的前兩天，女方更會安排「女孩之夜」，聘請専業的 “海娜” (Henna，又稱手指花/ 散沐花) 彩繪師以由散沐花萃取、製成的天然顏料，在新娘的手部繪上細緻繁複的圖騰。當顏料乾枯、剝落後，會在皮膚留下棕紅色的痕迹，可以碰水、洗澡，莫約 1~2 週後便會隨人體皮膚代謝而褪去。 有指，彩繪師還會將新郎的名字隱藏在新娘的手繪圖案中，只有在這些圖繪中找到自己的名字，新郎才可以開始甜蜜的新婚之夜 ~
